As head of UK research, Jon leads a team of more than 20 and is responsible for research outputs, client support and consultancy projects across the full range of residential and commercial property sectors, from both occupier and investor/developer perspectives. He is a frequent conference speaker and is regularly quoted in the UK press. He also sits on the JLL UK Executive and the EMEA Research Board, and has overall responsibility for leading research advisory services across Europe.
Jon has almost fifteen years of experience in both residential and commercial property sectors, working in both the public and private sectors. In addition to regular research on key property sectors and trends, he has written a number of influential reports for government and trade bodies. He has also carried out extensive consultancy work for private sector clients, including developers, investors and funders, on topics ranging from land and development strategy, through the analysis of economic or policy change, to long-term trends and their implications for larger-scale schemes.
Prior to joining JLL, he was Head of Market Intelligence at the UK Government’s Homes and Communities Agency, in which he advised on regeneration and the housing market and relevant areas of policy.
